One on One Physical Therapy
One on Once, personalized physical therapy is used when diagnoses do not require technology like Envision to facilitate recovery and resolution of a physical impairment or problem. The training, knowledge and skill set of the physical therapist with proper application should yield the desired results.
The present staff of Therapy in Motion, TN have a combined experience of over 100 years in the realms of orthopedic and neurological disorders. We utilize one on one, custom - personalized care, and when indicated assistive technology to get you the best results. We apply our knowledge base, skill set and experience to address a host of physical diagnoses from low back pain to frozen shoulder, plantar fasciitis and many more problems.
In the instance of low back pain, the cause or etiology of the pain syndrome often is due to insufficient, weak or an imbalanced musculature. The clinician does not need special technology to determine the specific weakness, plane of motion of the weakness or imbalance. In this instance, the clinician does need to use their manual and cognitive skill set to properly identify the impairments, target the deficits with proper exercise and activity intervention. This manual skilled intervention should result in resolution of pain syndromes and restoration of function. It requires the direction of the therapist and the compliance of the patient.
Resolution of post-surgical diagnoses again require direction by the clinician and compliance by the patient. Depending upon the parameters following the injury and recover, the patient may or may not need the addition of technology to help guide the rehabilitation.
Recovery from frozen shoulder(idiopathic) requires a knowledge base, handling skill set and experience for the most comfortable, rapid, and complete recovery possible. This type of therapy is not “guided” by technology, but it is ideally directed by a skilled clinician. In the case of frozen shoulder, effective therapy is comfortable, even pleasant. The completion of a session should result in reduced pain and improved motion.
Therapy in motion ,TN only engages in one on one, personalized physical therapy. The assistive technology can be used in many instances though in which the diagnosis requires additional insight into the contributing factors causing a problem and to guide therapy for the best results.
